Manaiakalani Film Festival - Te Ahu - 7th November
Today Te Manga and 8 kids from Te Kauru went to the Te Ahu Cinerama 2019 and some more schools from the far north came to the Te Ahu Cinema too. There was Ahipara school and kaingaroa school also I met 2 kids from my old kids kingdom. We came 2nd place in the Manaiakalani Film Festival 2019 my best film was the Trespasser, my favourite part was when he wrote on the sign.

Rugby World Cup 2019
In Te Manga we have been learning about the Rugby World Cup. My country is Australia I am learning about the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is famous because it is a heritage-listed steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour.

The First Rugby Ball SJ Pt 1 No.2 2011
WALT increase our vocabulary by understanding interesting and tricky words in the text.
The fist rugby ball was made from a pigs bladder in the early 1800's. people got sick by blowing them up a because they are germ-laden.Inflated means when you are blowing something up like a tube or a balloon.They used the stem of a clay pipe as a tube. now they make rugby balls using synthetic material because it is safer and the rugby balls are more durable. Durable means it lasts for a long time (whaea Deb).

Rugby World Cup 2019
In Te Manga we have been learning about the rugby world cup my country is Australia. In my country are snakes, kola, kangaroo, dingo, birds. Yesterday I was an all black and Zaviah shared some flags there were 20 flags and liv shared a big Canada flag. After that we took a photo of our costumes, jai was Uruguay he had the biggest flag every. Whaea Deb has never seen a Uruguay flag and jai,s mum got it from empire mart and Cleo got a new zealand flag to hold.

The Hare and the Tortoise NZ Playhouse
Today we were super entertained from the NZ playhouse we went into the whare all of the carters were my favourite but one of them was super best was the gingerbread man because he was cool. The show came on when it was funny everybody was lafing out loud me and jai were not laughing but same times we were lafing because. The G-man was sad because she lost one of his butts but the G-man had a lot more in his pockets. After that the tortoise and the hire had a race in the race the hire went to sleep.
